The violent looting and riots about a year ago last summer I mean. Talking to my brother and cousins who live there it sounds even more disturbing and repugnant than what they showed on TV. Senseless destruction and brazen theft as the norm for certain segments of the city.
It kills me that such immoral people took advantage of the legitimate protests to satisfy their own greed dispite it hurting not only the good people out there and the shop owners/workers but also themselves in the long run. Like how animalistic do you have to be to do something like that? ... Copied to Clipboard!

luckily stuff like that was an outlier and most of the protests were overwhelmingly peaceful --- my resting temp can easily be in the 90's -Krazy_Kirby ... Copied to Clipboard!

Even then things didn't go overboard thankfully. And when I say "thankfully" I don't mean people shouldn't have been upset over something like that, but that using violence against the police in return or decending into general lawlessness would have just made things worse for everyone. ...
