I'm just so bored. Does it get any better?

It's not just you. The Anime is pretty bad when it's not about the fights. Characters are very one dimensional and the story is lackluster. When people talk about how the Anime is good they only refer to the fights or how they think a character is cute.

The anime is great. The characters aren't the deepest ever, and they don't need to be. When I hear the story used as a negative I get confused because not every anime needs to be deep. I thoroughly enjoyed Demon Slayer because it gave me old-school anime vibes in a good way. Is it better than some other anime released around the same time? Hell no. I prefer Vinland Saga and TPN. But Demon Slayer is good.

With that being said, if you're not into it now you probably won't ever get into it. I'd say go watch Vinland Saga instead.

It has some decent parts but there's only like one or two legit good episodes so far. I'd stick around at least for that.

Absolutely agree, not every anime needs to have a deep and complex story but maybe this just isn't for me. Oh well, I'm glad I gave it a decent shot

I don't get why people think the MC of Demon Slayer is cowardly. The moment his family died he already decided to become a Demon Slayer and he risked his life trying to protect his demonized sister.

I don't think it was bad, but it definitely wasn't amazing. It just felt so generic to me. My cousin kept recommending me to watch it back in 2019 I think. I told her I'd have to wait for dubs because I don't watch subs. Finally watched it a few months ago and was definitely disappointed after all the hype I've heard. There were a few times I almost dropped it, but then it'd pick up a little.
