I got to meet Bo Burnham like a decade ago. I think it was his first tour. He performed his big YouTube hits and did some stand-up. He opted to not to have an opener or encore in favor of doing a meet and greet after his set. He took a photo and had a brief conversation with anyone who wanted to stay right by the merch booth. I haven't kept up with his stand up, but I liked Eighth Grade. He's definitely got potential as a director. He wasn't bad in Promising Young Woman either. Bummer to hear he's depressed.

So this topic got me curious and I'm watching it now. I'm still at the beginning, just finished the Socko song, and this fucking fantastic so far. I'm a chronically depressed person with seemingly similar viewpoints to Bo though, so maybe this is just jiving with my wavelengths, but I have laughed out loud several times already and that's pretty rare for me even when I find things funny.
