24 y/o Marcus Anthony Eriz and his 23 y/o girlfriend, Wynne Lee were the suspected couple in the white vehicle that shot at a car because the driver of that vehicle gave them the finger which killed 6 y/o Aiden Leos!!

They were taken into custody outside their home in Costa Mesa on Sunday when the California Highway Patrol said they are expected to be charged with murder over the little boy's death

Eriz works in the auto industry and is a gun enthusiast as both are being held on 1 million bail

Aidan was shot in the backseat of the car driven by Joanna Cloonan, his mother who was driving him to Kindergarten because apparently she gave the drivers a middle finger which got Marcus angry and proceeded to shoot at their vehicle striking Aiden

The road rage incident stemmed from a perceived unsafe lane change which resulted in the mother flipping them off before the passenger shot at them

The boy's mother said she heard her son scream "mommy my tummy hurts" and stopped immediately while bystanders quickly ran to try and save the boy's life before being rushed to hospital where he died

A 500,000 erward was offered leading to the arrest and the DA urged the couple to turn themselves in before it gets worse for them

A Gofundme page was made for the family and has raised thousands for the grieving family

The arrest came just days after an open casket memorial service was held for Aiden at Calvary Chapel in Yorba Linda where he was a student in the area

The mother said she wants nothing more than to find justice though it won't bring back her son she wants the perpetrators to pay.

One time I was walking across the street with my elderly mom and this guy did a crazy U-turn where he came within inches of running her over so she flipped him off; he got out of the car and punched me in the throat.

Another time I was driving on the highway and some driver stopped in front of us and stuck his finger up at us. Like literally stopped in the middle of the highway. I did not react. They eventually drove off.

I get anger, I will never relate to road rage. It is ludicrous to me. Its why Im rarely in cars. Sane people that I know and trust will be in the drivers seat and completely lose their minds at some perceived sleight. I just dont get it.

I don't think they should get the same sentence. The one who shot gets murder. The one who didn't come forward gets accomplice or something

The worst i do when I see stupid shit, is call them a God damn fat cow,(I don't even yell it at them, just to myself) just because I find it hilarious when Dennis is doing it in an episode for IASIP. I'm pretty chill for the most part, when people give me the finger I give them a thumbs up with a sarcastic face or smile and wave.

I assume the guy was driving and the one who shot. People like that are usually abusive in their relationships. It's quite possible the gf didn't come forward out of fear of retaliation or more abuse. Even if that's not the case, I still don't think they both should get the same sentencing.

I will say that being in a car with someone who road rages is very scary. I will never understand people who get that angry.

The mother is probably feeling guilt & regret over giving the middle finger to the shooter.

It's weird how someone who is clearly in the wrong gets mad at someone basically calling them out on it. If you do something wrong or make a mistake and get the finger, just take it

Yeah this was posted last week and I was hoping they would find the shooter. I live outside ATL and it seems like there is a roadrage shooting every week and you NEVER hear that they get caught.

I hope they throw the book at him.

Yeah, I never do that. I sometimes honk. What rages me is someone stopped at a green arrow and they are obviously on their phone. I've honked and once had SOMONE FLIP ME OFF like I was in the wrong and they were perfectly fine. Drivers are nuts.

At most I would do is honk if I feel like I'm about to get into a car accident over reckless driving like that, but I would never give someone a finger because they drove like crap. I heard horror stories like these in LA where people get shot for arbitrary bullshit like this. With that said, fuck that guy shooting at the car. I hope he gets the most out of his sentence.

What was the gf's krime other than being his gf (and probably not reporting him)? Did she have a gun too? Incident was spontaneous, rather than premeditated, so unless there' footage of her yelling "Shoot that bitch!", I don't see why they'd get the same sentence.

Yeah this is why its so important to not take anything personally when driving. Ultimately everyone is just trying to get wherever theyre going safely. Definitely dont provoke strangers. You have no idea what state of mind the person in the other car is in. They may just be a killer.
