Right now, I have a crapton of ER stacked on her because all I ever use her for is bursts and decoys. It's really not the most destructo build, but I was fooling around with an ER sands I picked up one day just for shits and giggles and I'll be damned if the stupid thing rolled every upgrade into Crit damage.

Rolling every sub into CD produces almost as much CD as CD main stat lol.

Speaking of which, after maxing out Noelle's attack talent (her Ult scales using it) and equipping her with really good gear, I legitimately cannot believe how ridiculously overpowered she is. She literally does 20,000 damage per swing in a massive AOE range

For the sake of this update I'm putting Klee in my party.

I've been trashing the poor girl, but the fact remains that she was my first 5-Star and carried me through the Abyss in ways pre-C6 Noelle and Company couldn't.

Although nothing compares to what happened when I got Venti. That dude is legit straight fucking broken.

That's still really usable until you luck sack into a better potential one.

But to your point that 4* support characters are still used is mainly because they haven't released any characters to replace them at this point. No one applies as much off field hydro as Xingqiu or electro with Fischl. Most of the characters released after the beginning are either all dps characters or supports that don't completely overlap with older supports like Albedo or Zhongli. Only one I can think of is maybe Kaeya being powercrept by Rosaria. But it's only a matter of time till the supports get powercrept, just hope it's not by 5*, characters

It'd be awful hard to Power Creep Venti or Zhongli.

Zhongli's shields are literally immortality. Perhaps if enemies power creep enough they won't be, but there's so much overhead right now.

As for Venti, I mean if they ever make a character that can CC better than Venti, that'll be truly broken.

Maybe it's just me, but despite Diluc being "replaced" with later DPS characters, I actually find his mechanics and stats to be still way OP, especially since he's pyro.

Mihoyo's strategy isn't to power creep away units but to put in challenges that makes certain units unusable. If there was a hypothetical ley line disorder "shielded characters can't regain energy" we wouldn't see Zhongli at all.

I know that 1.6 boss literally can't be hurt by ranged attacks. Ganyu believe it?

But really, the weirdest thing about Genshin is how really late game characters scale (or don't scale). The best examples being Noelle (who scales absolutely fucking crazily with extremely good gear) and Diluc (who scales incredibly well with mediocre gear until he just kinda... stops scaling)

I remember when doing the Unusual Hilichurl event I fought him on top of a mountain, he was almost dead so I decided to use Diluc's Burst. It didn't kill him, he got pushed of the mountain and fell so far down that he despawned and respawned with full HP ...

That sounds unlucky, probably sent it flying too far. I knocked him off the cliff where the spiral abyss teleporter is and he died from the fall.

Probably, enemies do despawn if they're too far from where you find them but I'm not sure if that counts vertical distance.

Rosaria is considered the best cryo support for melt comps right now but I play her as physical main DPS lol

This game needs more team slots. I really only have 2 teams due to elemental restrictions on domains. I've got my Rosaria permafreeze team for basically everything except the Mondstadt talent domain & dragonspine Domain, and then a fire team featuring Venti or a second fire character for everything else with Zhongli and maindps Traveler.

Team 3 is Venti, Zhongli, Klee, Yanfei for specialty hunting and team 4 is for commissions / whoever I'm trying to get companionship XP with. Right now that's Xiao, Jean, Tartaglia, and Beidou

I don't know if more team slots would work but I agree. I rotate around a Keqing and Hu Tao with my main team but I only use them in Abyss and i didn't even use Keqing this time around just because I wanted to try out Eula. I usually use friendship farm teams for anything not spiral abyss although I tag in Zhongli and Bennet for the annoying domains depending on what i need.

I am curious if they'll at some point expand on the game engine/mechanics. I'm not expecting Honkai levels but i wonder if they'll come up with new systems or something to spice things up after the game's been out for awhile.

Also it's been hinted at but something strange is gonna happen when Traveler finally masters all 7 elements. Dainsleif also has no vision so something super weird is gonna happen after that.

I can also see the introduction of new weapons. I fully expect we're going to see fists as a weapon eventually. We might eventually get equippable / interchangeable delusions.

Well there is also the one cutscene which shows Traveler using both geo and anemo in the battle with Tartaglia. So maybe Traveler will become capable of using multiple elements without having to switch at a statue.

Considering how Traveler is supposed to be special and have some powers that we haven't seen yet, I hope they turn out to be way more powerful than everyone else when we get to the real endgame.

New weapon types would definitely be the easiest way for sure. I could see them introducing delusions also and possibly a 8th element if they go the void route. My only concern on the delusions is how they monetize them, obviously we have childe who has a confirmed delusion but do they release a whole new iteration of childe or have some type of awakening type material for it.

I want to add multiple copies of Traveler to my team and make a team of 4x Traveler. That's the best way to handle multiple elements IMO. If Spiral Abyss is a problem for some reason then ban it for just spiral abyss.

I feel if the game was a standalone one time payment type of game the MC would definitely by able to use every weapon type. I'm sure they'll introduce the whole multiple element thing and allow the MC to get it first before allowing characters with delusions and maybe those outside of the visions power aka Dainslef.

Edit: Less then an hour to go now, gonna buy the Jean skin and hope RNG takes pity on me and actually gives me Jean soon. Also Redeemable codes GENSHINEPIC and GENSHINGALAXY can be redeemed if it hasn't been posted yet.

Oh well bought all the gem packs except the most expensive one. I finally got Klee when I almost ran out

I also got Fischle to C6 and Sucrose to C5

do they ever do sales for gems or is it all over once I get the last gem pack? thats enough to get one more 5* next time and after that its prohibitively expensive

Whoops, meant to test out my Hu Tao's damage after the EM changes and forgot I gave my Staff of Homa to Zhongli and wondered why she was doing much lower damage then normal. She had a underlevled skyward spine equipped

Hu Tao not gonna change really since melt & vaporize weren't affected by the em buff. I mean maybe you're using a weird overload setup but I think most people aren't.

Yeah, I couldn't really tell a big difference tbh even with roughly 250 em on a vape team. I'm gonna test out Electro Charge next

Hmm, maybe I'll need to make a dedicated team to boost EM since I haven't gotten around to building Sucrose so far but over I really can't tell the difference. Still getting roughtly 1600-1900 damage numbers with electro charge

Well I guess if they consider this a electro buff, Baal will probably give a free 1000em on C6 to actually allow your electro reactions to do damage.

Did I just do over 4000 damage electro-charged on C6 Fischl, 352 elemastery? (239.4% multiplier)

Anyway, C7 Fischl, C6 Barbara, C7 Sucrose, Klee C2.
Took 150~ rolls total and probably 110 or so this banner.
Got lucky to hit Klee on 50% chance. On the other hand, this might have been my final chance to get Qiqi....

Yeah, this was pretty much a Sucrose/C2 Kazuha buff tbh. Unless you run one of those two on your team or build your comp around it aka C6 Diona or Albedo its not going to be a huge increase. But this still applies to all reactions besides just Electro ones so Electro is still pretty bad by comparison.

Anyone else noticed now characters have new lines when they are near death?

Hu Tao kept saying Not good and Ayiyiyiyi when she fell below 30% HP iirc. Thats cute
