I liked how they at least tried to make different styles of gameplay, and let non-Sonic characters actually be playable. The game is clearly dated, though, but I did enjoy it more or less back then. The music was good, too.

Egg Quarters and Death Chamber suck. Mad Space sucks. Security Hall kinda sucks but isn't as bad as people think. Wild Canyon, Dry Lagoon, and Aquatic Mine are ok. Meteor Herd and Pumpkin Hill are good.

I barely remember SA1's but they all seemed really short.

This, I dont think I dislike a single stage from SA1 or 2 besides the big levels

The E102 levels weren't quite as good as the Tails/Eggman levels though, but that's only when viewed in hindsight

They were better in SA1 since the radar would react to any nearby emerald, and not just the current one. But the only one I truly detest is Rogues gravity stage. >_>
