My phone just locked up. I brought up the power off screen with a button but nothing. No response to the screen at all. 80% charge btw.

Xperia Compact xz2. I should emphasize that plugging it in did get it working but it has happened twice before even if only briefly. I hope to be prepared for the next time it happens.

You should be able to force it to shut off by holding the power and volume up for 10 seconds, other than that best bet is just letting it drain.
When it's back on, try clearing your cache and cookies, that could be what caused the issue. ... Copied to Clipboard!

TY. I do clear cache regularly but I will check the cookies. --- Humans do more harm by oversight than they could ever do deliberately.
