I know the opening is boring, but wait till you reach Alfheim before making that choice. I cant say you'll love it as much as me and others, but give it at least up until then. It gets so amazing when you get to starts using rune powers.

I get a little further each time

the latest one I fought the two brothers and got a little bit past that, like after the kid got sick and you had to travel without him

Okay, you got further than I assumed. My bad. Sounds like the game isnt for you, and that sucks. I loved that game so much. But, to each their own.

That game was a lot longer than I thought itd be. I was into it for awhile, but its very slow paced and my attention finally wained.

That opening fight against that dude who dont feel pain was sick tho. Some of the best fight choreography Ive ever seen.

Shrugs I'll never understand this mentality of forcefully trying something. If I'm not into something I won't bother wiking the plot or anything, I'll just move on. No need to force yourself through something with the billions of other types of media and stories out there imo, especially in modern times.

I just beat this game a few weeks ago, and it was one of the greatest games I ever played, I couldn't believe it shared its name with that cheesy 2000s series. From the very opening intro it felt like an entirely different type of game, with a Gladiator-esque soundtrack and a nuance that had never ever been present in the series.

I'm already prone to loving family relationships in stories, be it father-son, brother-brother, or what have you, but the fact that it was presented in such a heartfelt and sometimes heart wrenching way really gives you the immediate impression that this is a game the people behind it poured all their love and care and attention into.

The fact that it's gorgeous and so well polished just adds to the experience. I remember thinking there's no way I'd ever liked it based on gameplay videos, but it truly shows what I'd always known that trying out a game is definitely vital and way different than simply skimming a youtube video.
