That was my thought also. He needs redesign to show his bosses they should keep paying him, but the users here hate change. He's stuck in a tough situation.

eventually, people will realize that a bunch of small upgrades are always better than a big redesign. they're less jarring, they're less prone to breaking things, and they rarely remove features that people are used to having.

Mobile looked worse. Don't have any saved from that.

To be honest, the desktop version doesn't look terrible. Not really an improvement, but it's ok. I only ever saw the mobile version yesterday, and it was a clear downgrade.

The spacing, font, and color scheme made it much harder to read. It wasn't unusable, but it didn't improve the experience in any way. It only detracted.

I build websites, so I understand how much work goes into something like this. I expect some bugs like floating buttons, but the choices they showed yesterday were just completely misguided.

It's fucking hilarious to think that I was on early yesterday before the changes went live and by the time I visited the site again the changes had already been rolled back.
