I don't think Married... With Children would be cleared for production in modern America. Mainly because of the constant fat and slut shaming/jokes with very little attempt to make the characters doing it be wrong for it written into the script.

For some reason animated shows get away with a lot more. I doubt you'd see a live action TV series where they basically show a full statutory rape scene and the other characters are more concerned about the infidelity aspect (at least for modern setting shows before someone says Game of Thrones)

I imagine a lot of Don Bluth movies would really struggle to maintain their G/PG rating nowadays. I don't think there's anything stopping them from being made but those movies are seriously dark at points and I feel like a ratings board would be more likely to give it a PG-13 nowadays.

Like, The Secret of Nimh is rated G. I have no idea how that ever happened, but I couldn't see that happening today.
