Doom_Art 06/01/21 8:33:26 AM #1:	As in a game with needs, tool/tech progression/crafting, and base building, but where you're not farming carrots by the dozen, walking around with endgame gear, and building entire villages yourself within the first few hours. Something that still has those kinds of elements, but where things are maybe a bit more grounded or w.e. and the survival/building mechanics are more difficult/meaningful instead of just a minor annoyance or an afterthought The only thing coming to mind is The Long Dark. --- Not removing this until Mega Man 64 is released on the Wii Virtual Console. Winrawr 06/01/21 9:04:03 AM #11:	I feel like the only people who like these games are casual gamers who play nintendo titles, open world games, games on the easy difficulty setting, achivement hunters etc. People who like shallow game mechanics, and want experiences, rather than trying to beat a game just buy an open world survival game on steam. they're all the same. valheim is the new big one, right? and NMS? The Long Dark really is in a league of it's own when it comes to survival games, it's just so good. Try Rimworld.
