Gen 1 J3 was getting old and and getting the weirdest glitches.

Now I have an A20e, so far the transfers work, just have one annoyance left I found so far.

I have a password set-up, but the phone still requires me to swipe up after pressing the power button. There has got to be a way to disable that.

Brilliant...

Phone replaces physical bottom buttons with touchscreen ones, Android 10 auto hides those buttons in game, even the ones that use those for in-game uses and have dedicated empty space for them. Where do I lock this frigging bar...

Edit: "The user manual is not available in your selected language", yes, I am definitely using a highly exotic language...

Try setting up the fingerprint scanner. At least for my phone, you don't even have to press the power button to use it.

Nah, I'm happy with a password, just want to get rid of the excessive swiping.

I don't know how it is with newer Androids, but I use GravityBox for that (and other things) which uses the Xposed framework. I think nowadays you'd use Magisk and people have ported modules over, but I'm not really familiar with that. Unless Google quit being dumbshits and put it back in themselves.

Ok, I don't know what the fuck just happened there, but fuck it.

Rooting the phone sounds a bit excessive.

Why does clock/alarm need an install spotify button?

So you can wake up to music?

And perhaps the silliest design idea, who put the volume button where the power button should be?
Taking screenshots is all awkward now, whereas having the power and volume on opposite sites made it rather simple...
The power and volume buttons on my Galaxy Note 20 are reversed from my Galaxy Tab S6. The two devices came out less than 1 year apart.
