For how iconic of a character Hannibal Lecter is, he wasn't in it for long.

But Hopkins stole every scene. Wow. I also called his ambulance switch-a-roo.

I don't understand why Buffalo Bill had the backstory he had, but that scene with him and Clarice hunting each other down in the house was intense.

I was totally expecting a fight but I was shocked that he died so abruptly simply because Clarice reacted fast when hearing him get ready to shoot.

Anyway, the score was fantastic, the characters were fantastic, and that scene with the body sprung up? WOW

I watched it yesterday and Hannibal today. I don't mind Hannibal but watching them so close together really emphasizes how great SotL really is.

So one thing I never get: When she finds the dress that confirms dude is the murder, it has the tape on it showing which portions he's going to cut and use

But why does she find it where she does? I can't remember properly but this scene never made sense to me

I would recommend the Hannibal TV show. Season 1 is slow but S2 and S3 are much better.

Like, why that specific room? It was the girl's workroom.

Why the house? Probably because that girl was modeling for him, since she found the pictures.
