People seem to forget that the acronym simply means it is a flying object we cannot easily identify, not that they're alien in nature. It just means the medium on which they were recorded is insufficient to determine which of the thousands of possible objects or phenomena that exist on Earth could have caused it.

Because all the reports say these things move in ways that none of our technology could come anywhere close to. Unless there is some unknown country out there that is light-years ahead of the US in terms of tech, its pretty baffling. I dont know which would be worse. A country that far ahead of us, or aliens.

Actually it's an absolutely massive change, but only ongoing since 2017. The U.S. government, its officials, former presidents, and our military are now officially confirming the leaked pictures/videos. Not only that, but Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough is doing it at an unprecedented rate - we're talking confirmation within hours. Usually the Pentagon doesn't confirm this shit... ever. So yeah, huge change.

The majority of the population already believes in extraterrestrial life, so I really dont know what the deal is.

The more that I think of it, the revelation of ETs will shatter foundations of religion and government control. The argument that our technology is given to us by then, or otherwise reverse-engineered, is pretty strong.

This is an unidentified flying object. We call it an unidentified flying object because its unidentified. We dont know what it is. Therefore, it must be aliens - I know exactly what this is.

A thing you'll commonly notice about these UFO captures is that almost all the filming is done with advanced sensor equipment like IR and NV cameras that require calibration, maintenance, and have a much higher propensity for malfunction than standard video cameras. The military is also the only ones commonly picking these things up. There's about 100,000 commercial flights everyday with planes loaded with people carrying portable video cameras, and yet you almost never see people capturing convincing UFO footage on commercial flights compared to the greater evidence of extremely low-rez IR and NV cameras.

"That's because the UFOs are only spying on our military!"

That's assuming the conclusion and creating the evidence. Instead, a very obvious correlation is that these sensors are only used around military bases or navy ships during regular patrols.

When you assume the conclusion is aliens, it's very easy to miss evidence and explanations that indicates otherwise.
