Chatting on dating sites is so sterile and boring. Unless she is like a 8/10 I just can't get interested.

I always match w/sort-of-ok girls and either never message, or when I do the conversation is so boring I lose interest.

I find out that this isn't even a case of the girl being bored with you. It turns out that most women on dating apps just don't need to try very hard for conversation, so they don't even know how. The last girl I met a few weeks ago was giving these lame 1 word reply bs and then randomly asked for my number and started sending me nudes, and that was how I knew it was a sure thing.

One girl I'm talking to is a solid 7/10, but only has one pic. She told me she is "very interested" but then again, boring ass conversation.

The other girl talks more, but she's a lowly 5/10 w/an OK body. I am thinking about asking them what they are doing this weekend, but I also don't know what the point of that would be, because I don't have any interest in making plans with them.

Why are people on the internet so boring?

honestly if it's getting boring then go ahead and shoot your shot. dont wait for the whole "this conversation ends now ill wait a few days before messaging again" nonsense. if you don't secure a phone number or a date by the end of the first conversation, move on

I don't know. Most women I chatted with on dating apps would send paragraphs at a time. I occasionally got very short answers, but I then ignored them. This was 3 years ago, but I hope things haven't changed that much.

Well, part of me thinks I'm just not giving the other person a fair shot.

But you should at least entice me to give you a shot. Time spent with you is time I could be spending with my dog. Or bumping my topics on CE. I value my time, I don't just get a match and automatically start begging for a date.

Women are spoiled.

I just farm matches now, it feels impossible to have an interesting conversation even if my opener is super on-point and the woman is claiming to seek good conversation, and I dont photograph super well anyway so I have much better luck meeting people in real life. I am talking to a woman from Bumble and I like her quite a bit but sometimes even that doesnt feel worth the effort because she lives around 90 minutes away.

Sometimes. Sometimes I think "Alright, this is too much effort. Now you contribute to the conversation" and slow things down. But obviously I have already started to lose interest at that point.

Another thing is that there are lots of women on there that legit get put off by long replies. Like, they roll their eyes, think "I'm not gonna read all that" and laugh with their friends. I'm not giving *****es like that the satisfaction.

I mean, it sounds like you aren't being much better at conversing, whatever your reason.

Example, if they say they like to travel in their profile, I ask their favorite vacation they have been on. And I provide what mine was. It is about 5 or 6 sentences. And I get a proper response in return.
