i redid the home office a few months ago. the new desk is two inches higher than the last one and it is just destroying my left arm. i'd love to just lift the chair itself up to match, but i don't know if i've ever seen anything like that. i know if it came to it, i could just use a piece of wood or something, but i'd prefer something a little more kind to my carpet and my toes.

Why yes, I do get a kick out of being a smug smartass.

nah, just a regular folding chair. a new one is an option, but i'm used to these.

GorillaRisers perhaps?

could work. not quite enough, but maybe i can find some taller ones. or maybe even that much will help.

Okay.

Search for "furniture risers 2 inch" into Amazon or any other store of choice.

There's quite a selection available for purchase.

Hope this helps. :)

They have these workout mats you can lay down.

this was kinda what i was hoping for; i was hoping someone had designed something specifically for this purpose. but i couldn't find anything with a couple quick googles. i know i've seen plastic sheeting for the carpet saving, but it's usually really thin. i didn't want to try to pile up a dozen layers.

lol, i was waiting to see another post, i completely missed your edit. thanks and sorry =/

are they solid enough that the chairs don't rock? they look like it, but i want to be sure. also, ehhhh, that's more expensive than i was hoping for. might be cheaper just to buy a shorter desk.
