You shouldnt have 7 week olds chickens with adult hens or roosters. Id wait a few weeks more before adding them in.

Yeah, you should have something like 6-8 hens per rooster. If you dont have that ratio, theyll over mate the hens and potentially kill them

I learned this the hard way and had to get 5 more baby chicks (originally had 1 rooster and 4 hens, but had to remove and isolate a hen because it was the roosters favorite)
