Question? I see nowadays many surveys and polls are now giving ppl the option to select Multiple items/choices in Polls...

Should Gfaqs do the same? (Poll Questions)

The poll's already mostly shit and pointless, multiple choice would just make the results even more meaningless.

Same reason why adding "Other" or "None of the Above" is a terrible idea - it might people feel better because their special snowflake opinions are technically being catered to, but at the same time you'd wind up with every poll having 80%+ of the votes as "Other".

Why do people get so upset or confused over poll options. If the question is "How do you most often listen to music?" there is one answer. The question isn't "Give a ranked list of all the ways you ever listen to music" and if you don't listen to music then the poll doesn't apply to you at all. It's not complicated.

I don't see why it couldn't be an option. Obviously not all polls would work as multiple choice.

I think so. In todays one, I listen to music on regular radio, and CDs in my pickup (when the CD player is behaving). Satellite radio in our Subaru and big pickup.
