Kidding aside, I do have some questions

• How do I improve my overall Culture to get better inventions?
• Why doesnt it give me a notice that my kids dont have an education focus? It tells you other things, but I forgot to give each of them one for a couple years because I forgot you could do it. The game usually tells you things like that
• Can we not invite random people to Court anymore? Like it CK2, you can just Look for a Holy Man and one would show up with random stats. I dont see that here.
• How can I more quickly convert a place to my Religion? I have the highest stat person, but it will still take over 100 years. Should I try to make the people there like ME more or THEM, my holy person.

I wish I could help you more. I have avoided these types of games my whole life but THIS ONE I got HEAVY in to.

1) Cutlture - If you are the head of the culture you can pick the innovations you want to research. You become the head by having the highest number of lands that are of that cutlure. The "learning" skill changes how fast you research culture items as well.

2) I noticed that too when I played. I feel like they only made a point to tell you for your first child, MAYBE the second. I thought they would have fixed this in a patch by now.

3) I feel like you can invite people but they have to like you enough to come over.

4) High faith skill but it does take a LONG time. You can unlock skills in the Faith tree to make this easier I believe. Also, try having the title holders of an area be the religion you want people to convert TO.

This advice may be bad. I'm basing it on memory of a game I played a year ago.

If there's things you have questions on there is a whole bunch of people who make Youtube tutorials for stuff. It's how I learned 95 percent of the game. The subreddit is pretty good too.

I can never understand what I can attack during a war. Lots of time my Army is just standing around and I move them, and they stand around again

You can only siege castle holdings, if that's what you mean

But I cant easily find them in the map. Like, in CK2, the person you were at war with gM had a different color.

Ill have to look again when I get into another one.

Dont legitimize them or they might stab you and steal your castle

Castles have little circular walls around them on the map

Or do you mean that you aren't sure if you're actually at war with the person whose territory you're in? In that case, the people you're at war with have a flashing red outline around their territory on the map, and if you click the war icon in the bottom right, it shows their whole territory in red

I need Athens, but cant beat the byzantine Empire. Should I join it (King of Egypt) to get it? His brother is my son-in-law already, so does my daughter need to produce kids? Or is there a way Im not thinking about?
