I don't because of covid. My car died last march and they were paying more on unemployment than I was making, so I decided to put off buying a new one and just stay home. I left the house a handful of times between march and june by getting a ride from a coworker or just walking to a nearby store and basically haven't left my home since either june or july. I saved up basically everything I could during the unemployment boost and have basically been spending very little.

I do have a license.

I own four cars:

• 2018 Dodge Charger SXT Plus (Black)
• 2016 Dodge Dodge Challenger SXT (Red)
• 2016 Ford Mustang GT (Yellow)
• 2015 Chevy Camero 2SS (White)

I get my muscle cars used from military personnel. These young kids go into the armed forces, do their initial mandatory service, get out, buy brand new expensive muscle cars, then run out of funds quickly (or can't adapt to regular life) sell their cars well below market value, and then reenlist.

I'll fly out to purchase some of these vehicles, then drive them back to Cali. I post adds for them on various "military life" forums. Was able to get that Charger just last year for 65% below market value.

License has been suspended since 2013 due to some bullshit ticket that I refuse to pay. Been fighting it ever since.

I know the right people so I have a special exemption that allows me to drive on a suspended license. It basically says that there is good cause to believe the tickets that got my license suspended in the first place was unlawful. Therefore, until it's resolved my driving privledges are restored...but it's a paper exemption signed by a judge. So I get pulled over alot and have to show that thing.

Good thing I'm not black, or I'd probably be dead by now.

...I also technically own my girlfriend's Jeep Cherokee. Bought it in December used off a lot for 8k, and gave it to her for Christmas. She's slowly paying me off for it - I am only making her pay half. I got sick of letting her drive my cars to work. She didn't really take care of them.

I have a 2009 camry and a 2011 accord, but I almost never use them. Really, they're for my family.

Yea, I live in SF, so I walk & skateboard most places. My cars are mostly for show in my garage. It's a public garage for my building, so I do like to chill inside and watch people marvel & take pictures of them.

It's an ego booster.

I live in a city so I just take the bus, or uber if the location calls for it.

Way back in 2011-2013 I was hospitalized for schizophrenia and they revoked my ability to have a license. I had never had one before that.

I use my health card.

Something like a Mercedes GT, Jaguar F type, or an Aston Martin Vantage for current cars, for vintage, something like a Jensen Interceptor, Merc 300e, or an Iso Grifo would be what you're looking for

I just walk/take the bus/Uber. My city has a good public transportation system so it's not bad. Like it only takes me 20-25 minutes to get to work. If I drove it'd be 10 but that's not really worth the added expense.

Muscle cars are generally a smaller platform grand tourer car with a bigger than normal displacement engine meant for cruising and straight line performance. It can be upscale, but that's a bit of an aside.

What city? Public transportation in my city mostly fucking sucks. I don't mind having my license and my car at ALL but I wouldn't mind just taking the bus or the train every now and then if I had to. Especially the train, which is actually quite nice.

Toronto, transit is pretty good but some places are still better off reached by taxi

Got no car and got no license. The reasons being shitty concentration (for which I'm getting professional help, which takes very, very long) and the fact that I live in an urban area with plenty of public transportation.
I use a passport as ID.
