I don't believe psychology is unified on some sort of test to determine if a kid is transgendered and I honestly don't think they ever will be. Psychology is not a hard science. We don't know what goes on in peoples minds. Psychology is not a hard science. Not even close. Any attempt to paint it as such is wrapped up in pseudoscientific nonsense. So where does that leave us? Most of the people on this board were born male. Gay or straight or whatever. Nearly all of us can speak to the fact that puberty was a massive shift in our sexuality that permanently changed our lives.
