It's not like with Ashley/Kaidan where ~~they think you're dead then discover you to be working with the super terrorists you worked against a few years ago.~~ You're just currently awaiting trial after ~~slowing a galaxy wide threat he knows exists~~. Mechanically he takes the tank role Wrex and Grunt took in previous games. I got some use out of him in my engineer playthrough. I still like him.
