Would you sell or keep your dead loved ones memorabilia that they left to you?

A Florida Doctor who died recently from COVID-19 left his family a FORTUNE thanks to his MASSIVE baseball collection worth 20 MILLION..and now they are AUCTIONING IT OFF!!

His memorabilia dates back to the 19th century and the multi million dollar collection is going up for auction

73 y/o Dr. Thomas Newman died back in January from complications of the disease according to his widow, Nancy

He was an avoid sports memorabilia and baseball card collector and even attended conventions to get more of his "paper babies" as he sometimes calls his cards

He has over 1000 modern and vintage baseball cards as well as football and hockey cards

It included one of legend, Babe Ruth, a 1952 Mickey Mantle rookie card, baseball cards Ty Cobb, Lou Gehring, Honus Wagner and Ted Williams and World Series program books from back a CENTURY ago

The Mantle card is the most valuable in 1986 in its original case worth over a million.

The whole collection is now up for an auction with Memory Lane Auctions which is hosting the bidding beginning on June 21 and ending on July 10

Nancy says the collection gave him such pleasure and the only reason he would ever sell a card was if he had acquired the same card in a higher grade

Stewart, his son also fondly remembers travelling together at National Sports Collections Conventions

Nancy said he was a wonder, deep man with so many talents who also loved golfing and playing music

They expressed optimism at the auction and a lot of opportunity for people to take a whole collection of memories with them and for his legacy to go on

Would you sell your dead loved one's collections if they were worth millions?

Worth 20 million you say? Definitely would sell that shit. The baseball cards are of no use to someone who isn't interested in them and the guy who collected them is dead. But I'm assuming the family is probably already very rich anyway
