Alternative medicine by definition is medical treatments which exist outside of medical science. Shit like acupuncture, shungite, anti-5G tinfoil hats, whatever. If you do it for fun, whatever. If you do it for the placebo affect, great. If you try to promote it as an actual alternative for proven medical treatments, fuck off and get imprisoned.

plenty of alternative medicines have legitimate studies showing that they are above placebo or placebo. literally only a very minor fringe is ever promoting them instead of proper treatment. I have had a lot of medical issues and had legitimate success with things not provided by my doctor in improving my condition, often things with legitimate studies showing effectiveness.

Is there a single topic by TC that isn't god awful stupid...

Ivermectin - much like HCQ - was thought to show promise at one stage. It was later found to be ineffective. Every time this happens, the conspiracy crowd tend to act like it's being covered up (rather than, y'kno, it just not working).

TC is either trying to slowly bait people into that, or has fallen for it themself. That's all that's going on here.

It reads like he has fallen for it himself because he found some youtube star he likes. He also can't seem to acknowledge the difference between a treatment and a vaccine.

1) you can sue for whatever you want if it's due to manufacture negligence, hiding data, etc

2) you can't sue a manufacturer because you're allergic to an ingredient, just like you can't sue Red Lobster for the same reason.

3) telling a manufacturer that they have to have a vaccine out in less than a year, then also saying they can be sued for any adverse event, not exactly a rational thing to do

Most of this BS comes from Del Bigtree's "Highwire" though many anti-vax people don't make even a passable attempt to verify any of the misinformation they spread, so most of them get it from anti-vax message boards and Twitter.

I think he believes it's as effective as a vaccine even though it's just a supposed treatment. Like how HIV PREP works On a side note mRNA tech is possibly going to be used for a HIV vaccine..
