It's just the one joke about how Guy should have to fight through hoards of enemies he probably can't beat for a chance to rescue the potential love interest and claim the glory

Guy is my favorite unit to dump a bunch of work into just to be worse than Raven at about everything.

Good hurting (sometimes even killing) fighters though. Unless they have a hand axe and it is enemy phase.

All four deaths thus far have been in pairs to some unfortunate panicking.

Lute died to that Fog of War spider chapter early when I didn't look over the map closely enough.
Franz died to cav reinforcements from behind on the same chapter.

Neimi was filler long after being benched when I had an extra deployment slot on the Innes/Gerik/Tethys chapter on Eirika route, and I didn't know where reinforcements spawned in. Sadly, a smaller group including Neimi splintered off to the north while the main forces dealt with the bulk of the enemies. Pegasus reinforcements showed up right next to that smaller group and I just had to let Neimi go over risking someone that I was actually using.
Artur died to the same wave. I was so focused on the top group that I didn't realize that two of them could hit Artur, and he died to the same group.

On the plus side, I've gone deathless for the chapters since. I also have Saleh now (and I'll be getting Knoll soon if I want to use him), plus Moulder & L'Arachel are both ready to promote quite soon. Seth and Forde are also picking up the cav slack for the most part, so I think I've kind of stabilized a bit since those losses.

I just strictly like Forde the best. A lot of my picks are more or less my favorites.

In the most recent episodes, I've been kind of upfront about both regretting going Great Knight on Forde (I wasn't 100% sure about the differences while recording and didn't realized that the movement in particular was so pronounced), and I've mentioned a few times that my Forde is really, really mediocre. He's easily my most underwhelming main squad unit as of now. I think it came up 3-4 times in the desert episode that I uploaded earlier today.

I like him, though, and I usually have pretty good luck with him. He's getting schooled by Gilliam on this run thus far though.

Ive finally picked the game back up after being demoralized on the Gautier Inheritance map when Gilbert triggered the entire map to kill me. Ive finally figured out the reinforcement spawns. I really need to drop Ingrid as soon as possible. She just has to be RNG screwed because there is no way that she is actually this bad. She is level 8 with 9 strength. She cant do any real damage at all without combat arts. She has 1 more strength than Annette at the same level (she has 19 magic) and Mercedes at level 10. (She has 20 magic) Ingrid attacking and doing 5 damage to a Monk with an Iron lance is unacceptable

I burned through my Divine Pulses early because of deaths caused by missing hit rates of 85 or higher Then Felix died when I almost finished off the initial boss.. Time or start over AGAIN

If you're doing Maddening, the key is to let Gilbert die ASAP. He'll directly hurt you if you leave him alive.

In-house Ingrid just isn't very good of a unit. Her bases are just miserable and it makes her fall behind because she just can't kill. You are much better off just recruiting Petra or someone who can fill the same role much easier.

I think Im going to drop Maddening for now. Im sure I can do it. I keep making stupid mistakes that cost me the map. The thing is, doing really hard modes like this in 2021 when I have other games I want to play really hold me back. I have a crazy amount of games on my list I want to play and I dont have infinite time to play them. I will just stop playing again when I still havent experienced the ENTIRE story. So Ill do Blue Lions on Hard and do the Church Route on Hard to finish the story. Ill move on to other games I want to play and maybe come back to it when I get bored and run out of stuff to play.

Also fitting I beat it today because I bought the game 2 years ago today.
