Usually do it myself. I'm always unsure of my abilities, but often turns out good. Tbqh, I wonder what professionals can even offer. My beard doesn't fully connect, but I do want at least some stubble to contour my round face.

Yal think it's worth it or nah

Zero rash, zero ingrown hairs, feels fresh and clean. Doesn't even cost much, even at a fancy barbershop.

I would go to the barber once a week if I wasn't growing out my beard.

Here in the UK, it's usually around 20 (about $30) for a shave AND a haircut at a traditional barbershop. A shave on its own is usually less than 10. Shops in big cities can charge much more, but that's literally just to cover the cost of the location, the service is usually identical. Tipping is optional, some places don't even accept them.

I tipped like $20 since it was his birthday, and I just got a clean shave. I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about for style.

I don't like the idea of someone else with a razor blade against my throat. I know nothing bad will happen, but the idea of it makes me so squeamish, i'd never do it.

I think it's worth it. I don't go everytime, but when I do, it's great. Just the warm damp towel, the straight razor shave, and after-shave oil makes my face feel baby smooth.

I do it when i have somewhere important to be.

Let my barber do a straight razor lineup to my beard otherwise i just do it myself

I paid $100 once for a haircut and a "7-step signature shave". The shave took about half an hour going through all the steps, was a unique and interesting experience but wouldn't bother doing it again.
