It's already started and I'm honestly dreading it so much. I've been a hermit for a whole year. I've enjoyed all the time away from people and "normal" things. I'm fully vaccinated, but I still don't want to be out and about. The only times I been inside a store in last year were to get my vaccine shots. It's been all curbside since April 2020. I have saved on gas, eating out, etc..

I'm highly introverted so the pandemic has been a blissful time personally for me. It actually motivated me to start cooking and to fully convert into only seeking remote work. I was already becoming more minimal and cut off people that were toxic in my life in 2019. 2020 proved that it was a wise decision. Only person I been around is gf and she at least took pandemic serious. She's also introverted so pandemic didn't make her insane. Even though there was drama at some points when I didn't feel comfortable for us to see each other.

The pandemic hardened a lot of the feelings I had already about society and what's considered "normal" routine life. There were a few years in the mid-late 2010s where I got out of my shell and did more normal things an adult would do. Now I resent a lot of it and see it as not apart of my lifestyle again. I don't even care to go back either.

So anyone else feel the same way?

Yeah for most part the same for me. However, there are some things like simply having to have a car inspected or family pressures to meet.

This is one of those things I don't care for again. I'm a musician too so I've been to A LOT of concerts in the 2010s. Now I just see it as a big hassle and most of the time way too loud for my standards. I prefer to listen to a well produced/recorded album than live music anyways.

The only thing I dread will be eventually having to return to an office presence. My current role's office actually shut down entirely, so I am permanently WFH at this role, but it's not a role I plan on being at forever.

Other than that, honestly my pandemic / non-pandemic life is not that different lmfao hahahaha

Not me, I'm looking forward to it and my job easily allows for remote work. I can go into the office as needed when I want to which is perfect.

I've been living the same regardless of the pandemic. Post pandemic life to me is the same thing as pre pandemic life, so no I'm not dreading it.

My stupid employer is calling me back on July 1st, that is my only issue with post-pandemic life. Frantically searching for a remote job right now.

My job changes a little bit and I have to stay a few hours later at work every day but other than that, my life will barely be altered. But I'm still very worried about our culture -- especially working -- after the pandemic. People are advocating ubi, less hours, four day work weeks, less employees needed on site etc and seem to be shoulder nudging about how good it could be. How eye opening this pandemic was to the excess of grievances our current system causes.

It's going to be the exact opposite. They want it all back. Stakes are going to be higher than ever to find jobs because a workforce that no longer has access to extra money weekly on their unemployment will swarm everything. People say that this is a chapter turn to a new normal, but I think the old one is coming back with a baseball bat.

I'm ready for post pandemic. I've worked from home a total of 6, maybe 7, times since early 2020. So my work week barely changed. What did change was my inability to go to the gym, to theme parks, to the shooting range, etc.

My immunity from the 2nd dose will be in full effect by the end of the month. I'll still mask up, but I'll likely hit the gym again in June.

I'm still going to be a hermit for a while. I've got things to sort out in my life anyway, and I deliberately won't be going back to the office immediately.

The only thing that changed for me is walmarts hours. I miss being able to go in there at 2 in the morning. I can accidently social distance at that hour so that made no sense to me.
