troll topic nobody respond is it a troll topic or is it just a humourous (at least, that was the attempt) look at the potential changing meaning of words over time, especially ones like this like, personally, I would have no problem (and probably actually did this) calling the classic megaman games "retro" at the time the wii released. But somehow calling anything off this list retro now feels very wrong even though their age is about the same. I wonder if I just naturally have a disinclination to think of anything 3D, or anything about a certain graphics resolution, as "retro" no matter how old it is --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!! Sometimes I wonder if a third term will spring up between "retro" and "modern" as the former category just gets bigger and bigger to the point of uselessness as a term. and if so, where the cutoff lines would be. Personally I think it makes more sense to divide it based on features in gaming or hardware than just years but I dunno
