I kind of want to use my main alias, but I feel like I still like this one enough and I don't want to confuse people who already learned me. And I just passed 10 years not so long ago.

Congrats. I changed mine a few months ago after I find out I could. Because "ox0Shadow0xo" was no longer as cool as I thought it was when I was a teen lol.

Under normal circumstances, user name changes are not permitted, as you are always free to register a new account if you are unsatisfied with your current user name. However, there are four special situations that may allow you change your name.

1 - Your GameFAQs account is two years old or older and your user name contains an unintentional spelling or grammatical mistake you want to fix, including capitalization changes. You may request that your name be corrected, but you may not ask for a brand new name.
2 - Your GameFAQs account is two years old or older and your user name contains personally identifiable information; specifically, your last name, your specific location (a city or street name), or your full birth date (day, month, and year). In this case, you may request that the personal information be removed or changed, but you may not request a brand new name unless the personal information is your entire user name. Your re-use of the same user name on other sites is not considered personally identifiable. The personally identifiable information must be in the user name itself.
3 - Your GameFAQs account is two years old or older and your user name contains a word or phrase that can be considered offensive or in poor taste that was clearly not originally intended to be so, such as the name of a person whose reputation has since been tarnished, or a slang term that has taken on new meaning since you created the account. Simply having a name that embarrasses you today now that you're older is not a valid reason for a change; the actual context of your name must have changed since it was created.
4 - Your GameFAQs account is ten years old or older, your account is currently in good standing, and you have not previously requested a user name change.

I believe mine fell under number 4, considering my account is more than 10 years old, and the other options don't fit.

Eh it's fine. I used the old name for so long it wouldnt be a surprise to be called that. Tho I would prefer to be called Raline :D

Changing my username here wasnt a decision i came to lightly after all, but after finally starting to take steps to change things RL it felt appropriate.
