Jut seeing a lot of idiots crying/ranting about all this fantastical shit happenign to Christians around the world that isn't acutally happening.
Are they so bored and obsolete that they're desperately trying to become a downtrodden minority to gain an identity outside of all the child abuse shit associated with pretty much EVERY domination of their little LARP club?

I am honestly confounded as to where this current made-up narrative and identity came from. AFAICS, it's just there because they whole lot of them are bored and starved for a relevant identity.

Nah, they're just hyper sensitive again because Lil Nas X gave Satan a lapdance. No one cares.
In parts of the world like Egypt and Syria there are problems, but they're nothing comapred to other systematic issues in the culture (my fami is Egyptian on mum's side) so I just DGAF about any of it.
There's much more important things to take care of out there.

Also, ALL the persecution Christians put people through would give us much larger numbers over much longer swathes of time.

Not gonna lie. I want to move there... for some of the year at least. If I could spend (northern hemisphere) summer in AU or NZ and then head back up before it gets hot, and just do that every year (and be able to afford to) that would be fucking literal paradise

Heading back over to NZ in September to start looking at houses. Love that country. Love the people. Love how close we've all gotten. Good humanity feelz.

Now just let me add on that it doesn't mean that there isn't any actual Christian persecution in the world. The Coptic Christians of Alexandria in Egypt is an example that makes headlines.

That being said, these events are distinct to their particular cultures and largely inapplicable to the state of Christianity in the US.

I'm disappointed their version of Survivor was cancelled. I'm a big fan of shows like that and I watch any English version I can. NZ getting cancelled after season 2 was sad :(

Yeah, the two experiences between Egyptian Christians and onces in countries like ours just don't compare. And in these countries, Christians do the persecution. All those gay peeps that hd to hate themselves for years kinda lessen any impact that relates the two experiences.
