I'm being critical about something that should be critically examined--calling me pedantic is not a defense of your argument. The value of those things is both recreational harm and consensual sport--that's why I didn't mention the consensual sports that don't involve recreational harm, i.e. tennis, volleyball, baseball, basketball, etc. MMA and Boxing require consensual pain on a person (you can say it's immoral but several people would disagree). That's not what good faith means. It actually does. Literally, one of the definitions of faith is to believe in something with no evidence or proof. --- There is no good. There is no evil. There just is. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Leon is by far the better film, but it's hard to compare them as assassins. Leon is far more grounded and John Wick is essentially a comic book movie.

It's a specific term: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_faith It's like if i said I was in "good spirits" and you accused me of thinking a I was ghost because I called myself a "spirit" --- "joe is attractive and quite the brilliant poster" - Seiichi Omori https://imgur.com/TheGsZ9 ... You dropped the "good" part. It's a specific term:lol. You linked me to a legal definition? And it literally still means what I said. From the Wiki page you cited: "implied covenant of good faith is a general presumption that the parties to a contract will deal with each other honestly and fairly." Again, "general presumption" is just another way of saying that I hope you are honest and fair but I don't really know that for sure. Are you suggesting that we should have a moral system based on the general presumption that everyone is going to be honest and fair? It's a nice idea, but, I mean... Anyway, we've derailed this topic long enough. I'm out. Wow, you are having trouble understanding something simple. I said "If you take a good faith interpretation of my theory you will not find an exception in society." Meaning I was asking for you to converse in good faith, most people know what good faith discussions are. You ironically are either confused or acting in bad faith in your misunderstanding of what good faith discussions are. I mean good faith doesn't even mean "making assumptions about the content of an argument" it means "making assumptions that that other person isn't going to deliberately misunderstand an argument." And again it was obviously directed to our conversation, it wouldn't even apply to the moral rule because good faith is a term for how people conduct discussions, not how they apply rules. --- "joe is attractive and quite the brilliant poster" - Seiichi Omori https://imgur.com/TheGsZ9 ... How is Leon a pointless movie? He's a contract killer. Don't fuckin worry about it --- I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything. I might see your post and respond though if I have already been in the topic. ... Copied to Clipboard!

As much as I like the first John Wick movie, it was enough for me. I didn't like the 2nd, and didn't bother with the 3rd. His story finished with the first one, prequels might have been a better idea or something completely new. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
