Compsognathus 05/06/21 12:02:19 PM #19:	I was a libertarian in college because to my immature, experienceless life the contextless idea that the government should interfere with nothing and people should be able to live their lives seemed good. But I was never passionate about it. At one point I was the treasurer for the university's Young American's for Liberty club, because I needed a leadership role for a different class. The people in that club were some of the least socially-adjusted, awkward people I have ever met. You had the "Dude...weed" guys. You had the Austrian economists. You had the full blown anarchists. The Doomsday Preppers. The "Patriots". Every meeting I felt like I was in a cartoon. At one point the clubs president just resigned because she was dropping out if college to go become a shaman in the desert. Like that doesn't happen to other political clubs.
