The one girl tells the story of how her Dad went missing and then after several days of her and her Mom wondering where he was and the police searching for him, she went to light a fire in the chimney and noticed the smell. The Dad had tried to climb down the chimney in a Santa Clause suit with presents in hand, slipped and snapped his neck and died, and was stuck in the chimney for several days.
I haven't seen this movie on like a decade and damn I did not remember this. Yea I knew what you meant as soon as I saw th topic title. That was one of the darkest things from a sort-of kids movie that I know of

As a kid, I felt that film was way too mean spirited and cruel and I didn't like it.
