I was reading about research from Dr. David Hamilton and he mentioned that our subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between real and imaginary. He conducted a series of tests with pianists and asked them to play notes on the keyboard. He then asked them to imagine playing the same notes but without physically touching the keyboard. As he scanned their brains during each test, he noticed that the changes in those that imagined playing were exactly identical to those that were actually playing.

So imagine if you had an ex and you still clearly remember the sexual experience. You can relive the same experience physically, by imagining your most vivid experience with her. I'm going to assume that having a device that mimics the same pleasure will only heighten your senses when you're visually remembering her and replicate an experience identical to when you were actually physical with her.

Just a theory, but imagine if it did? You can essentially relive that same experience when you were with the hottest girl of your life.

I don't know about similar, really, but it definitely feels better than a hand. The cleanup is too much effort for me to use it regularly though.

I looked it up and it's a whole process tbh and also eww gross. But yeah you're going to have to look it up yourself because they make it sound complicated.

Alright OP. HERES the skinny.

the Amazon ones are pretty good. I got mine on there.

I highly advise getting one that is two sided/has holes on both ends. This makes cleaning much easier.

basically run hot soapy water through it, and let it rinse.

if you just get one that has a single hole, youll have to buy a drying rod

make sure to buy some water based lube.

I haven't used a fleshlight, but I have used similar toys. You're not getting a 1:1 experience, but it's fun and it feels good.

You might as well buy a cheaper toy that's along the same lines, see how that works for you and then decide if you want to upsell to a fleshlight. If you like the cheaper one, you're off to the races. If you're into it but the cheaper one doesn't exactly do it for you, the fleshlight is there for you to try. But I wouldn't expect an experience that feels like the real thing, just a reasonable simulation.

There's a sleeve you can get that has a shallow asshole indent, and you can put a bullet vibrator in it to make the whole toy vibrate. Check out the market for gimmicks like that.

Edit: also, drying wand? I would have thought you could flip it inside out, clean it and then dry it with a soft towel.

You're going to want to clean it with soap. If you don't clean it properly, bacteria can get in there - and then the next time you take it to plow town, you might give yourself a UTI.

If you're gonna wash it in the shower, make sure you have a way of thoroughly cleaning the inside of it WITH SOAP. idk if it's proper procedure, but if nothing else, clean the outside before you flip it inside out, and then thoroughly clean the grossness off of the inside with soap. When you're done with your shower, wipe the toy with a towel to dry it - if moisture gets stuck in there, I wouldn't rule out bacteria setting up shop - and then when you're satisfied, flip it the right way around and dry the outside.

Sounds like a pain in the ass, but it's much better than fucking a dirty toy and getting piss that stings your dick every time you take a leak.

Its a game changer

I got one last summer.

It does feel better than a hand but the maintenance eventually isn't worth it when using your hand is just so convenient.

Go for a Fleshlight right away, don't get a cheaper one and then decide to upscale or whatever that guy said.

You'll need lube for it. I think using lube and warming it up by soaking it in hot water and adjusting the tightening valve feels real enough. It's like my dick knows it's different too, it kinda acts like it does during real sex.

Don't use soap. Soap will deteriorate the material of the Fleshlight. You can clean it just running warm water through it. Be sure to fully air dry it (meaning leave the sleeve itself out to dry with no case) because you want no moisture trapped inside as that can cause bacteria to grow. They also sell a cleaning solution if you aren't comfortable with just water. I'm not sure what it's made of but you could probably find out and make it yourself too. I have an air purifier that circulates air through my room and I leave the Fleshlight in its path so that it has light air blowing on it.

I think it's worth getting just to try. I got the standard lotus one or whatever it's called. Haven't used it in quite a while though.
