How come Republicans can get by with:
- bragging about grabbing women by the genitals
- Over 30 sexual harassment lawsuitsa nd complaints
- Paying off a porn star
- Running over a man, then lying to cops that you thought it might be a Deer (Looking at you, Dakotas)
- Fleeing to Cancun

BUT WHENEVER A DEMOCRAT has the tiniest thing in the world like funny photos (Franken) they have to resign? Franken should never have resigned, and Cuomo needs to stay where he's at.

I don't think it's a good idea to lower yourself just because your opposition has, if we have a proven rotten apple then it benefits us to remove it.

If the Democrats weed out a few bad eggs, they'll still be a strong party and they'll have the moral high ground to be able to say, "We're the ones who hold people accountable for their actions."

What you're doing here is silly. What's the difference if both parties are willing to offer sanctuary to sexual abusers? Is rape okay depending on which party the assailant adheres to? If a Democrat molests a woman or child, do they finish by saying, "at least I'm not racist"?

The good guys have to do the right thing before they can hold the bad guys accountable for not doing the right thing. Otherwise, you're the same. It's not about who's better or who's right. It's about which team wins the big game. And that I can't abide by - not when it means enabling people to harm others in the name of loyalty. It's like picking between two gangs.

This is why I see Republican and Democrat leaders as allies rather than adversaries. We're in agreement that neither party will make a move to do the right thing until the other party does the right thing first. Which is a standing agreement that politicians of either party can be scumbags so long as they can point the finger at the other party.
