First article is all opinion piece. The second point makes a good, objective point though. Some people will have more money for training, some people have longer legs, etc. That is pretty objective and harder to argue against. Honestly this is the reason segregation between the sexes exists, though. There is an inherent advantage over females by males. If all athletes were on a single league, the males would be well above everyone else with a few females sprinkled in. Because genetics.

The rest of article 1 is not really helpful.

Article 2, however, is interesting. Here are some quotes:

"So I think we should focus on celebrating this diversity, rather than focusing on relative notions of fairness. For example, the body of a marathon runner is extremely different from the body of a shot put champion, and a transwoman athlete may have some advantage on the basketball field because of her height, but would be at a disadvantage in gymnastics. So it's complicated."

That is the same stuff article 1 was referring to.

"First, I will say that there is a huge difference between elite sports and sports in schools. Sports in schools are supposed to be primarily about inclusivity, setting individual goals, collective goals and well-being. And it is not supposed to be about crushing the competition."

It seems even this researcher seems to think this should only apply to school leagues? They also advised for the Olympics and proceeded to say:

"If we want to think about fairness, we should look first at the principles of the Olympic charter. It says every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport without discrimination of any kind. And in the Olympic spirit, what's true for schools should be true for colleges and should be for the elite level."

She specifies that it is about inclusivity, but never really comments on the physical differences between men and women in an in-depth way, and makes it sound like it should be all about inclusivity entirely. Honestly, the best solution to this would probably be 1 singular league for every sport.

But I disagree with myself there too. I feel women get more time to shine in their own leagues, and I feel they'd be dwarfed by competition.

Segregated sports shouldn't be a thing. Everyone should compete in the same group. If you can't hack it, too bad, blame your parents for giving you inferior genes.

I agree and disagree with this.

On one hand, more diversity overall, everyone could compete for the same awards and it'd be less of a hassle to watch multiple leagues, women may get taken more seriously...

But, on the other, the men would dwarf the women for the most part and in highly physical competitions, it could get dangerous(like football, MMA, boxing), and we wouldn't see women get the highlight as often as they could in their own league.

That's literally the male leagues.

Womens leagues only were invented because women can't compete unless you segregate due to biological science.

"I don't want segregated sports" is just the cowards way of saying "I don't want women to be allowed to play sports."
