chick-fil-a sauce
5/5, absolute banger, in my mind it's to fried chicken pieces what special sauce is to burgers

polynesian sauce
3/5, tastes like your typical mall food court sweet n sour sauce, which is to say too sweet and not enough sour, thus would've liked a little more acidity to it

honey mustard sauce
5/5, another one out of the park, fantastic pungency without pushing away the honey, basically succeeds at its job where the polynesian fails

garlic herb ranch sauce
3.5/5, tastes like any supermarket ranch to me, which is still a step above the ranch you'll get at places like mcdonalds/burger king/etc where the ranchy flavors are too diluted

zesty buffalo sauce
2/5 but hear me out. if you like frank's and other hot sauces of that style, you'll love this, sure. but when i hear "buffalo on fried chicken" i'm thinking an emulsion of hot sauce and oil, and while this does have oil listed in the ingredients it clearly isn't enough to set it apart from plain hot sauce. so again, great if you like hot sauce, not so great if you're expecting the glossy fattiness of a real buffalo.

seriously, grab a tiny container with a lid, fill it with half frank's and half melted butter, shake the absolute fuck out of it and then dip a piece of fried chicken. you're welcome.

barbecue sauce
2.5/5, far too sweet and not nearly smoky enough. someone high up at chick-fil-a has a sweet tooth, i swear. it's ridiculous that BK has a better bbq sauce than an actual dedicated fried chicken restaurant.

sweet & spicy sriracha sauce
4/5, love the acidity and the sweetness, somehow this one manages to dodge the trend of being overly sweet

honey roasted bbq
no comment, it's meant for the grilled chicken and i would never order fucking grilled chicken at a cfa

But I do know Zaxby's mustard sauce kicks ass.

I keep extra packets of Chick-fil-A sauce in my fridge. I love how they hand you like 20 of them if you ask nicely.

Zaxby's sauce is pretty good too. Too bad they aren't nation wide, I think they are mostly concentrated in the Southeast.

I feel like I'm an oddity here.

I've tried it a few times, but I'm just not really fond of the CFA sauce. I usually go for the BBQ or Polynesian.

I can confirm the validity of this review just based off the chic fil la sauce and sweet spicy sriracha sauce.

And why does this come up in every Chik-Fil-A thread. I swear probably 50% of CEOs are right wingers and we don't boycott half of the companies out there.

I only use it for nuggets if I get them, but yeah, Chik fil a sauce was an acquired taste, took a try or 2 before it tasted really good.
It's usually that and honey mustard for me, if I get nuggets and not a spicy deluxe.
