I feel hungover, but like, extremely hungover. Drank a gallon of water yesterday as usual. Got 8 hours of sleep.

But today I feel so warm and sick. Like I'm overheating. Every part of me hurts and idk why

Already drank 20 oz to get started on fixing this but damn. Stomach, neck and back hurt so bad

You dont know why? Its probably a reaction to the vaccine, this is pretty common. My first moderna shot was rough like that, but the second shot was no problem. Seems like folks have a tough time with one or the other.

Sounds like a bad reaction. Treat it like having the flu: lots of rest, lots of fluids, you should feel fine by tomorrow.

Ive heard that people get hit harder if they had COVID.

Thats not to say that its the only explanation.

I got the Moderna and had mild side effects after my second shot , more so just feeling a little tired and a slight pre headache. Showed up about 24 hrs later and didnt last more than a day.

ive heard others say they felt like they were hit by a bus though. Just affects people differently I guess

First shot was just a sore arm for me.

Second I had a sore arm and felt overheated just that day. I'm lucky to have minimal side effects, my brother and cousin got sick for a few days.

I felt like that 12-40 hours after getting my second shot.

It'll get better, just sleep when you want to sleep.

Second shot kicked my ass too.

it'll pass. i just hope you stocked up a day or two of food in case too sick to head to the store.
soup comes in handy when feeling like crap. i got fatigued off the dose.

Got my second shot yesterday at 11:30, didn't start feeling bad until the middle of the night but now I can barely move. Crazy feverish feeling and my bones and muscles feel hollow, like I barely have the strength to hold myself up. Hope it's better tomorrow.

It's just a normal reaction. Hits some people harder than others. You'll start feeling better soon.

No, if you have never contracted COVID19, only the second shot should result in a full systemic response. The first can cause swelling/etc but shouldn't cause fever/chills/etc.

If the first causes those symptoms, it suggests you've already had COVID19 and didn't know it.

I'd be a lot more concerned if I didn't have any symptoms from the second shot, honestly.

That would suggest that the first shot didn't mount an immune response.

At least its not COVID. And on the small chance that you do catch it, at least the effects wont be as severe and life-threatening.

I had this last Sunday. I felt weak, sore, and tired, spent all day laying around with a 101 degree fever. Went to sleep woke up the next day fine.
