i had just watched it and i was trying to convince her she would enjoy watching it with rifftrax on, which she had just done with star trek: undiscovered country. i was telling her that in retrospect the village with all the immortal people was really funny

also in the dream there were way fewer star trek movies. they went

• one of the first five movies, unclear which
• undiscovered country
• first contact
• insurrection
• unclear if nemesis existed

also i had just graduated from college through some kind of strange technicality but i wanted to wait to get a job and still do another semester of classes.

I enjoy it a hell of a lot more than Nemesis

It just feels like just a long early season episode of TNG, which you think more people would like considering it's a star trek movie and they seemingly are watching it because they enjoy star trek

Yeah it is like a medium-low tier TNG two parter in many ways. I think part of the issue is just that people expect more from movies. Fwiw it's probably my favorite of the tng movies. First contact is obviously better made but it's just not my kind of movie
