I'm wildly inconsistent. I'm going to buy a new ball with the cash. I throw at 18mph but my current ball has near zero movement. Time to upgrade.

For whatever reason when I was 18 me and a few friends bought some kind of summer pass thing for unlimited bowling. We still had to pay for cosmic bowling if we wanted to do that, which we sometimes did lol

We all ended up getting pretty good I think. I never got a turkey but I picked up a lot of tips from people who took it more seriously and I could pretty regularly end up in the 190s or so

Its been years though if I went bowling now Im not sure I could break 150

It's a fun game. So much physics are involved. Being consistent is the key to mastery. I need a ball with more natural hook.

I joined a bowling league once when I was younger. I think I wanted this really cool bowling ball I saw. It's fun. I'm not very good. I can sometimes beat friends and co-workers. And I can usually get a few strikes, and a good number of spares. It's fun, but I don't play as much, anymore. I use to go with friends all the time back home. Especially the midnight bowling at this one place...

I also remember going with my ALS (Airman Leadership School or whatever) class. Our flight were the drunks of the class, I guess... I also remember going to a bar after that, and a club after that...

Anyway, how were the other players in your league?

I lane ball bowled 30 years ago.

Owning your bowl is important. And shoes. I'm taking the next season off since I'll be busy raising a newborn but I'm going to practice.

Was it a sweeps week or was it team ranking? My leagues did both. Sweeps had multiple prizes from the weekly league fees. As well as ones you could buy into for that night, such as tournaments and what not. Both scratch and handicap brackets.

My first year I walked away with something like $600 all said and done. My team was 1st for the year, 1st for the night, I was 1st handicap male for the night, had highest handicap game, and won like 2 brackets. And a few other things. So much cash. Oh and I think most improved bowler.

Second year I got like $50 at the end.

End of season payout. I don't know why I got so much.
