He couldnt act then and its especially bad when you go back and watch them today. Tom is the quintessential Spider-Man and is so unbelievably good at being both Peter and Spider-Man. Tom has shown such range and depth to the character. His movies are better. And hes in an established universe and fits right in along side dudes with metal arms and dudes than can grow 20 stories tall. Tom is easily the best Spider-Man and its not even close. --- Like 90% of CE topics are the same way lol. Mainly cuz they spend too much time on him worshiping Tony's existence and making him just generically awkward. He doesn't really feel like Peter or Spidey outside of a couple scenes. And in Far From Home, he basically didn't even have a character arc -- he was just dicking around, being told to do stuff by Fury. Tobey is my second. He really felt like a relatable Peter, and Peter Parker was always supposed to feel like a pretty normal guy before his powers (minus his genius intellect). Awkward, real life problems that interfere with his role as Spiderman. Andrew was ok but the he feels worse and worse on rewatches.
