2 months ago I encountered 3 coworkers who were pretty much against the vaccine. I told them that I was going to try and get it asap and they all looked like they were concerned about me and the potential side effects and were telling me to not take it for my own safety (lol). I still took the vaccine and after a month of not showing any side effects they're all starting to come around and are now considering taking it. Hell, one of them even made an appointment for one on Saturday.

Like most people don't want the vaccine to fail, they just don't trust it and the best way to show them that it's safe is for me to take it myself and show them that it's safe. And it looks like my plan is working.

Good on them for coming around.

I've said it before and I'm not anti-vax by any stretch of the imagination, but i'm not in a huge hurry to get it. They are still trying to figure out if you'll need a shot every year or not plus with all the mutations coming out there may be a different vaccine in a few months. I'd rather wait as long as I can to get it.

I say this because I A)Still wear my mask when i'm out B) Still wear my mask when i'm in common areas at work (not my office basically) C) The people I see regularly are vaccinated now so I'm not AS worried about them getting it off of me.
