Resogun (PS4) - I played this game so much I got a platinum trophy. Think Defender crossed with a more traditional SHMUP. Amazing graphics (voxel-based, the entire world explodes into little cubes when you move on to the next world) and OST.

Transformers: Devastation (PS4) - Really freaking great if you're a fan of the original show. Amazing art and fun to play.

Hand of Fate (Xbox One) - An actually pretty clever card-based roguelike of sorts. Narrated by the dealer who acts like a dungeon master from Dungeons and Dragons. It eventually gets old but it's really well done.

Furi. Downloaded it on a whim and had no idea what it was. Only got around to playing it because of the SBFP vid on it, and damn was it enjoyable. Also the soundtrack had The Toxic Avenger on it so that's a plus for me <_<

Oh yeah Furi was awesome. Super stylish, weird, and very VERY hard.

Rocket League and Fall Guys. 2 games I love that Id probably never of bought.

Half because of me being mainly an offline gamer and half because them not being free probably wouldn't of made them so popular and in my line of vision.

Resogun is my most played PS4 game of all time, even last year I had more than double the hours and it compared to the second game

Maneater is the perfect example of a game I wouldn't buy but absolutely enjoyed playing

Super Time Force Ultra was amazing. A platformer with time travel where you can rewind and make clones of yourself to do really wild combat scenarios.

Also, bonus points for being, literally, STFU

Dead by daylight, it's probably in my top 10 most played games now (2.5k hours).

MGS5, but I had already bought it before it was ps+

Tricky towers, was a fun multiplayer tetris type of game. Super casual.

I think one of the dark souls games was free, or maybe it was bloodbourne.

Horizon Chase Turbo is my favourite racing game this (last?) gen, and I never would have heard of it without it being on Plus.

Tricky Towers was a lot more clever than it had any right to be.

I forgot about this one, played through it and had a blast because it reminded me of those late 80s early 90s arcade machine racers

Not quite the same thing but Bloodborne was literally a game of the generation, and possibly decade yet it was a PS+ title.

Sunset Overdrive.

I couldnt put it down and finished it in one weekend. It was so damn fun that I legitimately felt bad for getting it for free.

I yeah and runs a lot smoother, too. But my friend has the OG PS4, not a PS4 Pro, so that might be why his version was choppy.
