Incoming storage price increases because some coin thinks that using up arbitrary amounts of space for consensus is a good idea

So many HDDs and SSDs are going to be killed and end up as waste just because people want to be the first to inflate the value of a useless coin that will never be used for whatever its actual intended purpose is

I just don't get the point of these things when Proof of Stake has already proven you can achieve security and high transaction speed with minimal hardware and energy consumption
