covid was a natural mutation that occurred in the wet markets of Wuhan, as has happened many times previous in wet markets across the world throughout history (seriously, wet markets are dangerous). Other SARS variants that were appearing in the Wuhan wet market were being studied by a nearby lab for, well, the frankly genuine reason of nipping wet market mutation in the bud.

Then there was an outbreak in Wuhan, and the Chinese government did a high level lockdown and pretty much eliminated the outbreak... but it got free and, well, the rest is history.

As for the high infection rate and death tolls in the US (and upcoming Canada)... it's due to the inability for people to maintain the level of personal responsibility required to lockdown for a full 4 weeks... which is understandable because people are social and not robots.

I am pro capitalist, that doesnt mean scummy filthy socialists dont try to corrupt it. Example is supporting China because low cost on labour is cheaper, yet the CCP is authoritarian with lack of free press. and Democrats are more supportive of that than Republicans. So yeah socialists are the biggest shits in history
