One round, unless in the absolute perfect spot, typically wont stop a motivated threat. I dont know if you saw the video of the recent shooting in the hospital (cant remember where it was), but that guy took a round or two early on and continued to be a threat and then opened fire on officers again. I get the idea that one should be enough; I can understand why youd think that way. Typically, it isnt.
