No I didn't, and if you don't see that, that's a you problem. trump supporters are what they have chosen to be and I bear no responsibility for that. If they seek humanization from me, it's on them to figure out how to achieve it.

Probably not. Here is exactly how the discussion will go.

He will respond by accusing you of caring more about property than people.

You will point out to him that more than just physical property was destroyed, rather livelihoods, people's hopes and dreams, everything they worked for, was ruined.

Then he will respond by saying, "Well what about George Floyd? He tragically lost his life! Isn't that more tragic?"

And then you will agree, however you will point out that it's not fair for shop owners to have their livelihoods destroyed over something they had no control over.

Then there's a chance he will play the racism card and call you a racist.

Then you will point out how many of those destroyed businesses were actually owned by minorities and immigrants.

And at some point the conversation will just stop with no real resolve.

And at no point during any of it will either of you say, "Hey good point, I agree with you now," because we all perceive reality differently and come to our own beliefs and convictions for very different reasons that are very unlikely to be changed by a discussion on a video game website.
