Society and its famous and notorious living individuals is very controversial right now! There's some people who are heavily hated by a lot of people, and some of those same ones have fanbases of people who want to defend them!

A lot of people are in the public eye and have a strong reputation.
Try to include people from around the world, but have your lists be from what you think the perspective is of people living in the United States of America!

The goal is not to have a biased list, but to admit that some people, regardless of what your personal opinion of them is, have a lot of fans, haters, or sometimes both!

There's some people that seem to be hated by people who see the person as an ideological opponent, but then people who are on the "opposite side of the culture war" who won't counter that with equal or greater amounts of praise!

And then there's controversial people who are beloved, and the haters, while disliking the person, have moved their efforts elsewhere to to people who are "a bigger problem right now".

I don't know about that factoid, but not including Melania on the list of hated females... yeah I reckon that was an oversight on my part. While i do believe that her fanbase is usually more into her than her haters actively voice detestment of her, I also forget that she has received a lot of hate as well.

This list may seem rather Twitter-y and I don't want to do too much of that because there's a reality outside of Twitter, but yeah, i haven't heard people IRL or outside Twitter voice a lot of hate for Melania, but I'm sure it is there and that those people still feel it today.

Well, it's not intended to be a comfortable topic. Feel free to produce your own lists! But try not to have them be personal opinion. They must be how you think the public opinion of America is right now.

Also, it might be kinda iffy about how certain people are hated. I'm somewhat thinking of include living people who are hated or loved even if they are no longer in the public eye as much. In which case George W. Bush is almost certainly pretty high on the hated list.

At the same time, I have a lot less Hollywood celebrities and actors and whatnot because of current events making people not think of them as much due to fewer movies being releases in the past year. But I probably could add William Zabka and Ralph Macchio (Cobra Kai actors) somewhere low on the LOVED MALES list with them being nowhere on HATED.

@g0ldie and now I see your edit. Yes, a lot of the hated people are also beloved by others. Some of the most controversial people in the world have very dedicated fans who believe that fate of the world depends on their human object of praise getting more people to that person's side and more power and influence.

Yeah, I probably shouldn't have Candace Owens so front-and-center, since honestly, the most beloved females in America probably are just celebrities. Lately I have a hard time even geting a feel for celebrity culture in the actual traditional entertainment industry sense.

It just feels like to me that the famous singers and whatnot... for a lot of the population, you ask an average person on the street and they are like "yeah I hear their songs on the radio and I kind of like them".
