Being a centrist is good in ways but it's also probably the most exhausting stupid thing you can do. I'm not saying people should be jerks either but being far gone from all of it isn't stupid either. WHy being a centrist or being far far left and invisible is probably smart if you are smart and doing the right things. It's pretty stupid if you are just wasting away. Expecting people to hear reason if you are in a hole is wishful thinking.

Republicans aren't realistic about anything, all of their policies are based on traditions, nationalism, and their philosophies of how things are rather than how they actually are.

Democrats are half science and half political correctness. A problem still, but better than the GOP.

Republicans are getting old and dying off. Just look at the republican party. It's a disaster. The democratic party isn't much better. Joe Biden got elected because he was a white man and a populist that was electable. But he seriously doesn't have much left to offer other than to be a figurehead like trump was for the republican party. Biden won't be as hated, but he's barely functioning himself.

What's really scary is the media. These younger people don't know what they are doing themselves.

A sizeable chunk of the GOP literally believes Democrats kidnap children and drink their adrenaline.

This is the thing it would be one thing if there was actual sense out there. I don't think it's racist to say as long as people are dangerous to have some judgement in how we do things. It's better if people didn;'t have those issues and could love one another. But it's like what came first the chicken or the egg. If they were actually resolving these issues that would be one thing too.

It's the extremism and how it's actually applied. There is nothing wrong with letting other people have their day either. But world full of idiots isn't the answer either. If people can love one another sure.
