Videogame writing should take full advantage of the fact that it's an interactive medium (and well, not all games really need writing)

It's tough to have perfect pacing, mood, etc in a medium where you have little to no control over the main character's actions for the vast majority of it.

I think video games have a lot of good writing and acting and that I'd prefer them over a lot of movies or TV shows. The best movies or shows are better, but there are lot worse too.

Video games being interactive means the narrative flow won't be as consistent compared to literature and film.
